Nita Lake Lodge requires the couple to hire the services of a professional wedding planner for a minimum day-of event coordination. Recommendations for local Whistler wedding planners who know our hotel and work successfully with our banquets team can be found below:

Additional Information


  • Day-of coordinators must be industry professionals and may not be guests attending the event

  • NLL requires all day-of-coordinators to be on-site for the full duration of the event.  Should they depart before the end of the event, NLL requires a secondary point of contact (other than the wedding couple); this individual must be available throughout the evening to answer inquiries, as needed, and will be responsible for décor tear-down and clean up.

  • Please advise the hotel’s event manager of any additional décor deliveries.  Rented tables, linens, chargers, etc. are to be delivered no later than 12:00 noon one day prior to the wedding event.  Delivery of rented chairs will be subject to event space availability.

  • All rented décor (i.e. napkins, glassware, flatware, chairs, etc.) is to be set by your hired wedding planner or day-of coordinator and must be taken down the night of the event.

  • Any items left overnight will be subject to an overnight storage fee and all items must be collected no later than 12:00 noon the day following the wedding events.

  • NLL does not provide any supplies (i.e. ladders, lighters, etc.) to assist with décor set-up and tear-down.

  • NLL does not assist with labour for set-up or tear-down, including receiving deliveries.
