Lakeside Rehearsal Dinners and Group Dining

The Lakeside Restaurant at Nita Lake Lodge is an excellent venue to host your rehearsal dinner. Combining traditional French cooking techniques with a love of west coast ingredients, Executive Chef Darren Brown creates approachable local flavours with a modern, innovative twist. Paired with our open concept kitchen, fresh decor and unique design features and the stunning lake view, it is a welcoming space to wow your close friends and family the night before your wedding.

Cocktail Reception

Saying Yes is only the beginning. What better way to start the celebrations with a cocktail reception to toast the couple and start the celebrations. The Nita Room Foyer is a fantastic pre-reception area and is included when booking the Nita Room space. Getting married in summer? Consider a ceremony followed by a lakeside reception on Aura Patio.

Wedding Reception

The wedding reception finishes off your evening as you celebrate your marriage with family and friends. Whether you are looking for a plated meal or a delicious buffet, our Executive Chef Darren Brown has put together a curated list of dinner delights that are sure to impress. Post-Wedding Brunch and Gift Opening

The day after the wedding, treat your guests to a post-wedding brunch or formal gift opening! We are happy to offer our wedding couples the use of Cure Lounge on a complimentary basis from 7:00 am until 11:00 am to host a post-wedding gathering. Please note, this space is for a pre-arranged brunch and is not available for a-la-carte style service and available to groups of 50+ guests.

Costing Guidelines

Menus and wine selections must be confirmed within 30 days of your wedding event.  Once the final menu and beverage requirements have been confirmed, the hotel’s event manager will prepare a costing estimate.  For your initial budgeting purposes, please anticipate the following:

  • One bottle of wine (750 ml) serves five glasses

  • One bottle of sparkling wine or champagne serves six champagne flutes

  • Estimate a minimum of ½ bottle of wine per person for dinner

  • Estimate a minimum of three pieces of hors d'oeuvres per person, based on a one-hour reception prior to the main meal

  • Estimate two drinks per person for the first hour of a reception, one drink per hour for each hour after that

Anticipate 30-40 minutes for each course to be served, for an enjoyable dinner service.
